In parallel our group of specialist Engineers and Program teams develop the production tooling and equipment at tool makers around the world to be installed in our production plants to support manufacture.

Manufacturing Engineering leads the technical activities involved in the creation, planning, procurement, operation and continuous improvement of the manufacturing equipment and processes that convert raw materials, energy, and purchased items into body in white components that meet the customer’s quality expectations at a competitive cost.
Working in this environment you will be part of a multi disciplined and experienced engineering team undertaking research and development into new materials and processes, the planning of new equipment and process solutions in response to customer’s requirements and will also provide trouble shooting and problem solving technical support to the Business Units.
Working with the planners in the MP&L department, the Production teams at each site are responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture and assembly of high quality parts in line with the customers’ schedules.

The Commercial function at Stadco covers a wide variety of disciplines and skills. The department is responsible for the development, quotation and winning of new business. Once won the processing of the order and ongoing maintenance of the relationship with the customer is ultimately also that of the Commercial team. All promotional material, website development and public relations activities is controlled by the department, using both internal skills plus managing external suppliers. The team includes a number of disciplines from Order Administration and Estimating to Business Managers.

The Finance function is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and reporting, and working with key functions to maximise business financial performance.

The objective of the Material Planning & Logistics function at Stadco is to embrace the whole Supply Chain enabling and integrative approach in managing the total flow of all distribution channels from Customer through suppliers’ back to the Customer.
Utilising enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems, the MP&L function provides and efficient flow of goods and services, with the target of eliminating waste and reducing the total acquisition cost.
With over 70 employees in the MP&L function across our five UK sites, MP&L teams work closely together to provide career opportunities from warehouse operative to MP&L management level.
The Purchasing department provides the conduit between Stadco and our supplier base and are responsible for the management of our supplier commitments by the timely placement of contracts for the various goods and services necessary for our UK manufacturing sites and facilities.
Our vision is to provide a transparent service that facilitates manufacturing of our product range with the specified parts at the right time, with appropriate quality and at the optimum cost.
Purchasing are responsible for the selection and management of the supply base, ensuring cross-functional agreement to sourcing strategies and management of costs both prior to and post start of model production. We are also responsible for the procurement of new parts and systems for new or existing products alike.
